Sunny Week Draws 365,000 People
The Sentinel-Ledger, in Ocean City, NJ, reported that for the
week of August 3-10, 1997, the beach patrol estimated over
365,000 beach patrons with over 102,000 on August 10th alone.

The week before had 355,000 beach patrons with Sunday, July 27th
having over 88,000 people enjoying a day by the sea.

(This is only 5 miles of beach out
of over 80 miles of New Jersey coastline!)
